The Wild Cupcake was born in an “every man’s” kitchen in March of 2011. Nicole Costa was hot in pursuit of a degree in nursing when a chance encounter and a few motivational words from her best friend sparked the creation of The Wild Cupcake. Baking from scratch was in no way foreign to her, however, baking on a commercial level was. Nicole was determined to share her passion, skill and her love of all things cupcake with the world over (starting with New Bern, NC., first). She is not classically trained and does not possess degrees or certificates in the fine art of baking. Everything Nicole knows and does is from experience…no one had to teach her to burn caramel or over beat egg whites…she learned that all in her own test kitchen. Nicole is more than proud and honored to stand by her creations…she has earned the right to call herself, owner/operator of The Wild Cupcake, LLC.
